Product Warranty
Smash Courts will make efforts to act as a liaison between our customers and our various brand distributors/manufacturers, when you have a defective product, however some brands require the customer to deal directly with them. Our team will facilitate the warranty process for you as effectively as possible.
Each brand has their own warranty program with different time frames which may be subject to change. .
Please refer to the general guidelines and criteria below for individual items and brands to see if you feel your case falls within their guidelines and our team will be glad to assist you.
Pickleball Paddle Warranty Information
Most brands have a limited 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on their pickleball paddles. Exceptions include: Diadem (6 months), Franklin (90 Days), Harrow (90 Days), Onix (90 Days).
The warranty is void if the following is present on the paddle:

Excessive wear on the tops, sides, and handle/grip end of the racquet.

Double breaks/cracks
-
Missing hologram or the serial number
-
Clear impact damage
-
Damage due to excessive heat or cold
-
Damage due to hitting another player’s racquet.
For Babolat, Diadem, Harrow, Head, Gamma, ProKennex, & Wilson, please email smashcourts1@gmail.com with the following information and pictures:

The sides and top of the paddle

The entire paddle/racquet from end to end

The serial number either on the hologram or from a scanned QR code (located on the frame)
Upon receipt of the photos, Smash Courts will reply with confirmation within 48 hours, and will forward the pictures along with the invoice to the manufacturer. Response time from the manufacturer can be 2-10 business days. If the manufacturer successfully approves the warranty, a $10 to $15 shipping fee may be required to send a replacement. If a replacement is not available, a Smash Courts gift card will be supplied for the full purchased value of the successfully warrantied item.

Paddle/Racquet Bag Warranty Information
Bags from most brands (except Salming, 30 days) have a 6-month limited manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. This covers any manufacturing defect, including but not limited to: faulty zipper(s), torn stitching, and torn straps/handles. There is no warranty on normal or accidental wear and tear or discoloration of the bag.
The warranty is void if the following is present on the bag:

Excessive wear and tear

Excessive amounts of dirt

Customization of any kind

Missing serial number tags

Damage due to overly heavy objects carried in the bag

For all brands except Tecnifibre and Yonex, you can initiate the warranty procedure, by emailing info and pictures to smashcourts1@gmail.com with the following:

A picture of the entire bag from end to end

The serial number found on the inside of the bag on a white tag (look at both sides of the tag)

Court Shoes Warranty Information (all sports)
Most brands have a 6-month limited manufacturer’s warranty, with the only exceptions being Salming (30 days), Tyrol (case-by-case basis), & Yonex (90 days). This covers defects in the manufacturing of the shoe, which includes but is not limited to; torn eyelet/lacelet(s), faulty glue, and faulty stitching. The warranty does not cover normal or accidental wear and tear, discoloration, or wear on the toe areas due to heavy pivoting or toe dragging.
The warranty is void if the following is present on the shoe:

Signs of use outside of the court (i.e. stains from mud, sand, soil, foreign stains, etc.)

Signs of customization or previous repair

Self-inflicted damage to the shoe

If the insole is removable, take it out and look for a sequence of numbers underneath, in the heel area.

For Yonex, the shoes must be sent to their office in Calgary. Please contact us via email – smashcourts1@gmail.com, and a customer service staff member will provide you with further instruction.

(6-Month Shoe Outsole Guarantee) - Shoes eligible for the outsole guarantee must have a hole through the bottom outsole to the inside of the shoe
Only Nike, Prince and Wilson offer a 6-month outsole guarantee in Canada. Only one replacement per shoe purchase, and it only applies to the following models:

These items have no set warranty period and defective products will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at smashcourts1@gmail.com with an explanation of the issue, along with several pictures from various angles, or a video, showing the defective items.

ADIDAS
FOOTWEAR/APPAREL/ACCESSORIES
Adidas, unfortunately, does not offer any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defects within 2 years from date of production. Please note, Adidas does reserve the right to determine if the product is defective or is an outcome from regular wear-and-tear. They could reject your claim if they believe the damage is not directly related to a manufacturing defect.
ASICS
FOOTWEAR
Asics, unfortunately, does not have any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defects within 1 year from date of purchase. Please note, their warranty program does not cover any damage related to improper fit, normal wear-and-tear, misuse, alteration or negligence.
APPAREL/ACCESSORIES
Asics warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on apparel or accessories within 6 months from date of purchase. Please note, their warranty program does not cover any damage related to improper fit, normal wear-and-tear, misuse, alteration or negligence.
BABOLAT
FOOTWEAR/BAGS/APPAREL/ACCESSORIES
Babolat, unfortunately, does not have any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defect on products within 6 months from date of purchase.
TENNIS RACQUETS
Babolat warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on racquets within 1 year from date of purchase.
HEAD
FOOTWEAR/BAGS
Head, unfortunately, does not have any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defect within 6 months from date of purchase.
ACCESSORIES
Head warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on accessories within 1 month from date of purchase.
TENNIS & RACQUETBALL RACQUETS/PICKLEBALL PADDLES
Head warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on tennis/racquetball racquets as well as pickleball paddles within 1 year from date of purchase.
K-SWISS
FOOTWEAR
K-Swiss, unfortunately, does not have any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defect.
NEW BALANCE
FOOTWEAR/APPAREL
New Balance, unfortunately, does not have any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defect for all products.
NIKE
FOOTWEAR/APPAREL/BAGS/ACCESSORIES
Nike, unfortunately, does not have any outsole warranty on models sold in Canada. However, their policy covers against any manufacturing defect for all products.
PRINCE
FOOTWEAR
Prince has a 6 months outsole guarantee from the original date of purchase ONLY for certain models. This guarantee applies to soles that are completely worn through to the midsole. Prince reserves the right to determine if your claim qualifies or not with their policy. Upon acceptance, there is a 1 time only offer on the product.
TENNIS RACQUETS
Prince warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on racquets within 1 year from date of purchase.
WILSON
FOOTWEAR
Wilson has a 6 months outsole guarantee from the original date of purchase ONLY for the model Rush Pro 3.0. The replacement is guaranteed if the outsoles are completely worn through to the insole or that the toe guard has a hole exposing the inside of the shoe. Wilson reserves the right to determine if your claim qualifies or not to their policy. Upon acceptance, this is a 1 time only offer on the product.
TENNIS RACQUETS
Wilson warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on racquets within 1 year from date of purchase.
YONEX
FOOTWEAR
Yonex has a 3 months warranty on manufacturers and product materials defects. Please note, their warranty program does not cover any damage related to normal wear-and-tear.
RACQUETS
Yonex warranty policy covers against any manufacturing defects on racquets within 1 year from date of purchase.

Accepted Claims:
When Smash Courts receives acceptance of a claim by the distributor/manufacturer, we will provide you with a replacement of the product in question. ONLY if it is unavailable in our stock, will we offer an equivalent model or an in-store credit. Our team will contact you with further information.
The process for a warranty claim could take up to 30 days.

*Some manufacturers will ask to have the product shipped to their warehouse for inspection. Smash Courts will provide the address of where the item needs to be shipped to but does not cover shipping costs.
