Meet Jody & Jeff

Smash Courts is a family-owned business started by Jody and Jeff Allen, who have called Peterborough home for decades.

Jody brings more than 25 years of experience working with children, youth and families, along with a passion for building community and helping people find connection and belonging.

Jeff is a longtime Peterborough resident and educator who shares that same belief in the power of sport to bring people together.

Together, with family and community they built something different — not simply a place to rent a pickleball court, but a community hub where people of all ages and abilities can feel welcome.

Today, Smash Courts is home to players from beginners to national-level competitors, youth programs, camps, coaching, tournaments, social play and a growing pickleball community.
