More Than Just Pickle Ball

Smash Courts Summer Camp is more than just pickleball. Pickleball is our anchor, but the camp experience is built around multiple sports, creative play, and shared challenges.

In addition to pickleball, campers will play sports such as badminton, frisbee games, flag-football–style games, relays, cooperative team challenges, and park-based activities, all designed to help kids build confidence, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Campers play a variety of sports and games, make new friends, and learn how to work together in a supportive, community‑focused environment. We believe in healthy competition without pressure — kids compete, try hard, and celebrate wins, but success is measured by effort, teamwork, and growth.

 

  • This is a life‑skills‑enhancing program where kids are encouraged to lead, support one another, take positive risks, and leave each day feeling confident, included, and excited to come back.

WEEK 1 – Sports Mash‑Up Week

Theme focus: Multi‑sport fun + teamwork

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Warm‑up games + pickleball fundamentals

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball drills & games (serving, rallying, mini matches)

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Sports Mix‑Up (badminton, soccer tennis, frisbee, and more)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–1:30 Quiet reset (sports trivia, creative time, games)

  • 1:30–3:15 Pickleball/sports leadership development games 

  • 2:15–3:00 Team sport finale (relay races, court Olympics)

WEEK 2 – Nature & Adventure Week

Theme focus: Outdoors, exploration, movement

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Stretch + animal‑movement warm‑ups

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball skill blocks + games

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Nature activity (bike‑path walk, nature scavenger hunt, park games)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–2:30 Quiet reset (creative time/games/movie)

  • 2:30–3:15 Pickleball play 

  • 2:15–3:00 Adventure games (orienteering-style clues, obstacle course)

WEEK 3 – Art & Creativity Week

Theme focus: Expression + imagination

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Music warm‑up + movement games

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball drills & creative games

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Art block (paddle art, court chalk murals, team banners)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–1:15 Quiet reset (colouring, bracelet making)

  • 1:15–2:15 Pickleball games (music pickleball, themed challenges)

  • 2:15–3:00 Creative showcase or art gallery walk

WEEK 4 – STEM & Problem‑Solving Week

Theme focus: Thinking games + challenges

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Brain games + warm‑up

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball skill & strategy drills

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 STEM challenges (build‑a‑target, court math games, trivia trails)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–1:15 Quiet reset (puzzles, logic games)

  • 1:15–2:15 Pickleball strategy games

  • 2:15–3:00 Team problem‑solving challenges

WEEK 5 – Fitness & Wellness Week

Theme focus: Healthy bodies & minds

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Yoga + stretching

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball drills & cardio games

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Wellness activities (fitness circuits, bike‑path walks, hydration games)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–1:15 Quiet reset (mindfulness, breathing, colouring)

  • 1:15–2:15 Pickleball play

  • 2:15–3:00 Camp fitness challenges

WEEK 6 – Community & Teamwork Week

Theme focus: Leadership + kindness

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Team games + trust activities

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball doubles & team drills

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Community games (team challenges, cooperative tasks, park play)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–1:15 Quiet reset (gratitude journaling, card making)

  • 1:15–2:15 Pickleball team competitions

  • 2:15–3:00 Leadership games + reflection

WEEK 7 – Water & Summer Fun Week

Theme focus: Cooling off + classic camp fun

  • 9:00–9:30 Water‑safe warm‑ups

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball games

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Water activities (water balloon relays, sponge toss, splash games – parking lot/backyard)

  • 12:00–12:30 Lunch

  • 12:30–1:15 Quiet reset (shade games, drawing)

  • 1:15–2:15 Pickleball play

  • 2:15–3:00 Summer party games

WEEK 8 – Camp Olympics & Celebration Week

Theme focus: Confidence + fun finale

Daily Schedule

  • 9:00–9:30 Team warm‑ups

  • 9:30–10:45 Pickleball competitions

  • 10:45–11:00 Snack

  • 11:00–12:00 Olympic events (relays, accuracy challenges, obstacle courses)

  • 1:15–2:15 Pickleball finals

  • 2:15–3:00 Awards, celebration, camp wrap‑up
